Is Your Risk of a Heart Attack On Your Radar?

I’m not much for dishing out bad news, but I need to make sure I get your attention on this…

Did you know…

A million plus people will have a heart attack this year. And that’s just in the United States alone.

More sobering than that is that about 200,00 of those heart attacks will be FATAL.

What are the odds that YOU will be one of them?

Again, I’m not trying to scare you and make you anxious. But, especially if you’re over 50, you need to be pro-active about your heart health and do everything you can to avoid getting lumped into these statistics.

Look, even if heart disease runs in your family … don’t just throw in the towel of inevitability. Heart attacks can be prevented you know!

Here’s my suggestion (plea?) for you today:

Don’t try to be a Suepr Hero when it comes to your heart health if you find that to be intimidating.

Small baby steps are better than no steps at all.

If you try to become a vegetarian who hits the gym twice a day … well, guess what … that might not last too long. (Right?)

But start making baby steps like:

  • Cut out (or cut back) on your worst foods
  • Get at least a LITTLE exercise every day. (It doesn’t have to be an entire program, but just a few minutes of walking is a good place to start.)

Then build from there as your enthusiasm and passion for more increases!
